Inspired by the rugged natural beauty of Laguna Beach, Spa Montage is situated on one of the worlds most stunning oceanfront settings – offering a peaceful sanctuary to help guests reconnect with nature's beauty and their inner selves. Through serene surroundings and therapeutic treatments, each guest is encouraged to learn about his or her own unique requirements for optimal health, wellbeing and vitality.
Spa Montage is dedicated to providing a complete therapeutic experience by creating an ongoing relationship between the guest and therapist. With a focus on holistic principles and noninvasive techniques, spa therapists are carefully trained to develop customized treatments for each and every guest.
"Our mission is to help guests achieve health, vitality and well-being, with a focus on what they can do at home to maintain these goals," explains spa director Julie Raistrick. Guests are provided with a series of recommended treatments and products to take home with them.
Highlights:
The ocean plays an integral role in the spa's menu of treatments. Water therapies, seaweed mineral baths and hydrotherapy restore the mind and body; muds and clays draw out the body's impurities and improve circulation. A mile-long stretch of beach, pristine coves and inlets offer retreats for contemplation and spots to enjoy beachside yoga or meditation.
The breathtaking indoor/outdoor oceanfront facilities with floor-to-ceiling windows capture 160-degree vistas, which further instill the sense of peace and wellness that follows a visit to Spa Montage.
Amenities:
Spa Montage offers exquisite fine touches to enhance the spa experience. These include: plush robes; natural silk duvet covers with down feather blankets; 100% natural cotton sheets; thermal mineral salts from Hungary in all of its whirlpools; organic seasonal offerings of fruit and tea in the spa lounges; and bronze bowls filled with water, essential oils and seasonal flowers below the face cradles of the massage tables.
Spa Consultant:
Anne Bramham, a 25-year spa industry veteran, helped develop the treatment menu for Spa Montage, and continues to develop new services while offering ongoing education and support to staff therapists.

Design Features:
Spa Montage reflects the California Arts and Crafts movement with its warm, craftsman-style decor, dark wood and rose marble accents.
While waiting for treatment, spa goers may relax in the luxuriously appointed men's or women's lounges, which feature lounge chairs and intimate fireplaces surrounded by vibrant handmade tiles.
Like the rest of the resort, exceptional Early California art is showcased throughout the spa and includes: vintage photographs of classic California beach scenes; original sketches by William Morris, the founding father of the Arts and Crafts movement; plein air paintings; and ceramic tiles.
Facilities/Equipment:
This world-class spa features separate men's and women's club-style locker rooms with indoor/outdoor relaxation areas that are complete with: fireplaces; shower, steam and sauna areas; whirlpools and cold plunge.
Other highlights include a full-service beauty salon, lap pool and spa boutique.

Spa Programs:
Surrender Retreat. A personalized three-night retreat focusing on enlightenment of the senses and exploration of the mind, body and spirit. Guest is assigned a therapist and trainer for the duration of the retreat and together, they determine an enriching four-day program.
Half- and full-day programs are also available.
Spa Products:
Spa Montage utilizes the best botanical ingredients in its treatments including:
- Eminence – A handmade organic skin line from Hungary, uses all natural ingredients. The product line includes face cleansers, toners, moisturizers, serum concentrates, exfoliants and masks.
- Spa Technologies – An aromatherapy and seaweed-based skincare line from the United States, which focuses on natural products to detoxify, protect and nourish the skin.
- Thalgo – A marine-based French skincare line, is considered the leader in the world of marine cosmetology and beauty products.
Dining:
Mosaic Bar & Grille offers healthy snack and meals to enjoy at the Spa Pool. Selections include: chilled cucumber soup, mixed citrus salad, grilled tofu satay, and steamed salmon with Japanese cucumber salad.
Costs:
Complimentary use of the fitness center and wellness classes is available to overnight resort guests. Spa guests may enjoy the spa, spa pool, and spa wet areas (including the spa lounge areas, steam, sauna, whirlpool, etc.) with the purchase of a 60-minute treatment.
