Through serene surroundings and therapeutic treatments, each guest is encouraged to learn about his or her own unique requirements for optimal health, well-being and vitality.
Spa Montage is based on the foundation of providing a complete therapeutic experience by creating an ongoing relationship between the guest and therapist. With a focus on holistic principles and noninvasive techniques, spa therapists are carefully trained to develop customized treatments for each and every guest.
"Our mission is to help educate guests on how to achieve health, vitality and well-being, with a focus on what they can do at home to maintain these goals," explains spa director Barbara Schulz. Guests are provided with a series of recommended treatments and products to take home with them.

The ocean plays an integral role in the spas menu of treatments. Water therapies, seaweed mineral baths and hydrotherapy restore the mind and body; muds and clays draw out the bodys impurities and improve circulation. A mile-long stretch of beach, pristine coves and inlets offer retreats for contemplation and spots to enjoy beachside yoga or meditation.
The breathtaking indoor/outdoor oceanfront facilities with floor-to-ceiling windows capture 160-degree vistas, which further instill the sense of peace and wellness that follows a visit to Spa Montage.

Spa Montage offers exquisite fine touches to enhance the spa experience including: plush robes; natural silk duvet covers with down feather blankets; 100% natural cotton sheets; thermal mineral salts from Hungary in all of its whirlpools; organic seasonal offerings of fruit and tea in the spa lounges; and bronze bowls filled with water, essential oils and seasonal flowers below the face cradles of the massage tables.

Anne Bramham, a 25-year spa industry veteran, helped develop the treatment menu for Spa Montage, and continues to develop new services while offering ongoing education and support to staff therapists.

Spa Montage reflects the California Arts and Crafts movement with its warm, craftsman-style dcor, dark wood and rose marble accents.
While waiting for treatment, spa goers may relax in the luxuriously appointed men's or women's lounges, which feature lounge chairs and intimate fireplaces surrounded by vibrant handmade tiles.
Like the rest of the resort, exceptional Early California art is showcased throughout the spa and includes: vintage photographs of classic California beach scenes; original sketches by William Morris, the founding father of the Arts and Crafts movement; plein air paintings; and ceramic tiles.

Surrender – Begins with a brief consultation to discuss lifestyle and guest needs. The therapist then determines the ideal treatment to address individual needs.
Montage Massage – A soothing
combination of classical music and massage techniques for ultimate
relaxation.
Laguna Beach Kur – Based on the traditional
European Kurs, this relaxing and invigorating treatment uses indigenous
botanicals.
Elements of Life – A cleansing and
purifying ritual utilizing warm ocean mud, a rose and jasmine-fragranced
bath, neck, shoulder and head massage and a toning massage.
Aroma-Balancing
Therapy – A full palette of essential oils are used in this energizing,
yet relaxing, ceremony including: aromatic bathing of face, hands
and feet; light massage along neuro-reflex pathways; anti-aging
and lymph drainage techniques; face and scalp massage; and herbal
face compress.
Montage Anti-Aging Facial – An antioxidant serum is

Mosaic Bar & Grille offers healthy
snack and meals to enjoy at the Spa Pool. Selections include: chilled
cucumber soup, mixed citrus salad, grilled tofu satay, and steamed
salmon with Japanese cucumber salad.

Complimentary use of the fitness center and wellness classes is available to overnight resort guests. Spa guests may enjoy the spa, spa pool, and spa wet areas (including the spa lounge areas, steam, sauna, whirlpool, etc.) with the purchase of a 60-minute treatment.
